Mind to Mind Project

The Mind to Mind Project ran between 1998 and 2001, funded by the National Lottery Charities Board (now the Big Lottery Fund). See the Project Report or download it in PDF format.

The project provided opportunities and training to enable individuals to undertake volunteer work. Activities included creating a mosaic, befriending, social activities and training in variety of subjects including computers and the Internet. See this website created by a participant in the project.

The project helped over 50 people with severe or enduring mental health difficulties develop new skills and confidence. The knowledge and experience we gained of supporting volunteers with mental health difficulties proved invaluable in developing the current Mentoring and Inclusion projects.

Mental Health I.T. Project

The Mental Health I.T. Pilot Project ran between May 1998 and March 1999. The project provided opportunities for people with mental health problems to develop their skills and confidence in web site design and information technology. The project report documents what the participants and we learnt from the experience.
