The Inreach Project supports people using Manchester's day services, including the Day Centres located in North, Central and South Manchester. The project aims to increase opportunities for people to develop interests, activities and relationships additional to and beyond day services.

Volunteers Needed

We are now looking for volunteers to provide one to one support to clients of day services in Manchester.

Volunteers work closely with a member of staff to facilitate such activities and to support service users to become more confident in organising activities for themselves. Examples of the types of activities organised with the support of the project include:

• Participating or spectating at a sporting event
• Joining a rambling group
• Visiting the cinema or a theatre
• Enrolling on a college course
• Attending drumming workshops
• Completing a training course

The project is funded via Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust & the Tudor Trust.
