Our Information Service is now open Monday - Friday 10:30am - 2pm on 0161 272 8205 and by e-mail. An answering machine is available at all other times.

Vaccancy for Information Worker

Part-time Information Worker needed to provide a high quality mental health information service to the citizens of Manchester. Key tasks include responding to enquiries by phone and email, maintaining the database and using a monitoring system. More information.

Inreach Volunteers

Volunteers needed for the Inreach Project to support people with mental health needs in day services operated by the Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust. Full training and regular supervision will be provided. This is an ideal opportunity to gain skills and experience in the mental health sector. More information.

Mind in Manchester Board Members

We are looking to co-opt one or two new members to our trustee Board of Directors. We are seeking individuals that can help us develop new mental health services in Manchester and become sustainable as an organisation. We are particularly looking for individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to promoting Mind in Manchester's vision, ethics and values and also offer some of the skills and abilities required for managing a small or medium sized organisation. Pathways To Work - Changes to Incapacity Benefit

“Pathways To Work" is part of the Governments Welfare reforms. The Scheme is designed to help people on incapacity benefits back to work although there are many concerns regarding this process.
